Socks That Feed
Socks That Feed
As the weather turns colder, it's not just our feet that need to stay warm, it's our hearts and homes in our communities too! That's why at Twin Valley Co-op, we are always looking for ways to support local Community Groups with that focus in mind!
And what better way, then to donate 100% of the proceeds from our unique Co-op sock sales to our local Food Banks! Our campaign "Socks that Feed" will aim to raise funds for our local Food Banks by selling our cozy Co-op socks throughout the holiday season to help support a program that helps put meals on families tables when they need it most.
A Small Purchase, with a Huge Impact!
All proceeds will stay within our local community Food Banks that assist in Birtle, Miniota, Elkhorn, Russell, Rossburn and surrounding areas.
Beginning November 5, 2025, socks will be available to purchase in any of our Food Stores, Home Centres or Gas Bars.
Whether you purchase one pair or a dozen, each contribution will go towards helping fewer people go hungry this holiday season!
$4875 RAISED FOR LOCAL FOOD BANKS!
Thanks to our wonderful communities support, we were able to raise a tremendous amount and support the following Food Banks:
Birtle Food Bank — serving Birtle and Miniota areas
Virden Food Cupboard — serving Elkhorn area
Rossburn Community Pantry — serving Rossburn area
