Co-op does business differently. As a co-operative, we believe in serving Western Manitoba, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Co-op Ag Equip team to serve northwestern Manitoba sales area.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the AG EQUIPMENT MANAGER, the successful applicant will be self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic and be involved in all sales aspects of the Co-op Ag Equip team.

  • Meeting with growers throughout northwestern Manitoba to discuss grain storage and ag equipment needs.
  • Working with manufacturers AGI and Meridian to source equipment needs for members.
  • Develop and promote Co-op Ag Equip products and services.
  • Connect with existing members and identify and acquire new customers.
  • Lead all aspects of the sales process, including proposals, quotes, and cost-estimating.
  • Assist with the implementation and deployment of Co-op Ag Equip products and services.
  • Consult with growers farming operations to assist them to reduce downtime and increase efficiencies by optimizing latest technology and equipment.
  • Execute excellence through solution-selling techniques.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in the Ag Industry:

  • Proven sales consultant skills, with the ability to generate new contacts and service existing members.
  • Previous retail or sales experience an asset.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation, and teamwork.

Compensation:
This position is compensated with a base salary plus commission on sales. Along with the competitive commission compensation package, we offer complete benefits including health, dental, vision, disability and life products through the Co-operators benefits package. The pension plan is defined contribution 6%/6%.
