What you’ll do:
• Duties to include, but are not limited to, loading/unloading dry and liquid fertilizer and seed, working with agronomists, organization of the warehouse, general yard maintenance and assisting in other areas of the Agro as needed.
• Provide quality farm customer service responsibilities.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Support more senior team members in executing customer service, product transactions and operational duties. Executes routine operational and/or sales support services under direct supervision
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Agriculture with a solid company
- Excellent interpersonal skills and motivated to provide excellent customer service
- Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s license (Class 3 or 1 is an asset)
- Experience working around heavy equipment, farm equipment, augers etc. Forklift experience and asset but will train
- Willing to work outdoors in all seasons, physically capable of lifting, bending, carrying and walking back and forth in Agro yard with a focus on safety, innovation, and teamwork.
- This position requires working extended hours in peak busy seasons
