Twin Valley Co-op is hiring a DELI MANAGER to lead our deli team at our Food Store in Russell Manitoba.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Food Store Manager, the successful applicant will be self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic and be involved in all aspects of Departmental operations including recruitment, training and development and performance management.
• Provide strong leadership and support to department team members.
• Provide top notch customer service satisfaction.
• Organize, direct and co-ordinate the operations of the department’s team
• To achieve budgeted goals.
• Maintain consistent buying and selling policies.
• Ensuring merchandising, product and facility image are at the highest standards.
• Responsible for accounting and reporting procedures as required.
• To assume responsibility for maintenance of competitive prices and initiating price checks.
• Assist Food Manager to prepare and implement annual budget.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Food Store Management, in your particular field and possess:
• Strong technical knowledge and experience; Strong customer service skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory and delegation experience.
• At least 3 years of previous food retail experience.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation, and teamwork.
